Paris (Day one)

On Tuesday, me and a friend went to Paris for 3 days. I (as always) over packed, and probably could've stayed for 2 weeks with the amount of clothes I brought, however, it was around 30 degs everyday, so I couldn't wear half the stuff, so I guess it was good in the long run...?
We had the most amazing time, and I wish we could've stayed longer (this is my only holiday this year!) Here's some photos..

Day one: We didn't really have enough time to go anywhere, seeing as we got to our hotel at about 2:30 pm, so we stayed around that area and went to the local 'Franprix' supermarket, we bought lots and lots of french sweets (they have SMURF haribo?! amazing) and peaches and headed back to our room, we unpacked our stuff (mine, a huge suitcase and Sophie's, a tiny hand held bag, with about 4 items of clothing in!) and ate the sweets.
We then went to dinner and ate outside, which was beautiful. After dinner we went back and got changed and walked to the Eiffel Tower (it was literally round the corner and we could see it from our window) we sat facing it for a couple of hours and waited for it to get dark. We got chatted up by hilarious french guy who asked if we " 'ad a light?" and then sat down with us, we couldn't work out what he said his name was, so we named him Patrice. We chatted to him for a while about all of the many places he had lived and how he had studied English. After this it was quite late and we'd seen the Eiffel Tower light up, so we went back to the hotel to sleep...
